Memory Net - Lauren Iida

UPCOMING July 28-August 12

Cambodia-based papercut artist, Lauren Iida creates an installation as she works in an open-studio setting. Iida invites the public to contribute objects from their personal "language of objects" referencing their memories. Over the course of the exhibition, Iida will cut these objects into a large-scale paper net installed in the gallery. The exhibition includes a launch of Iida’s new book, benefiting her 501c3. Iida will give an artist talk and speak about the small group contemporary art tours she leads in Cambodia.
