Call for Work
The Vestibule invites submissions of new or completed work by single artists or small collectives for Decay, an exhibition exploring how we navigate and engage with the inevitable entropy of our world, showing from April 4th – 25th.
The Vestibule hosts guest curator, Izzy Dunn, from the UW Museology program. She has chosen to offer an open call for her exhibition. Learn more about Izzy and her project… and apply!
The work included in the show should explore this theme of Decay from unexpected angles. Show us the joy of degeneration, the beauty of collapse, the peace that comes from crumbling into dust.
What kind of work is right for this show? While we are primarily looking for sculptural and installation work, we will be considering all genres. Be creative with your mediums and show us something we haven't seen before.

About the guest curator:
My name is Izzy Dunn and I am a Masters of Museology student at the University of Washington. I will be guest-curating this show with the Vestibule as my thesis project. As a curator, I am particularly interested in mid-century and contemporary abstract art, and I love looking at themes from new angles and working with different, unconventional kinds of media, especially if there are elements of color integral to the artwork. I look forward to seeing your submissions and working with you.
