Katie Miller shapes the galley into an installation inspired by mining and mineral extraction processes and a recent residency at Joshua Tree National Park, home to over 300 historic mines. Wall installations, kiln-fired glass, photographic weavings, and hand-cut paper examine the socio-ecological impacts of historic and modern mining practices.
