It's Darkest Before The Green: Christopher M Tandy
It’s Darkest Before The Green
Christopher M. Tandy
June 7 - July 12, 2025
Reception June 7, 3-5 pm

Guest Curated by Stefan Gonzales
Christopher M. Tandy invites you to a space bathed in green. He explores Queerness through a new age of witchcraft that aims to align cyberspace with the occult. Tandy presents 2D and 3D work from wands to crystals adorning computer chips.
The Stranger says don’t miss this!
As an anti-disciplinary artist, Tandt adopts methods for creating and thinking rooted in Queerness, stemming from a rejection of being defined by discipline and/or output. Their practice and process are fluid, like the mercurial space in (and out of) the world around and in us. Through a combining of technology and traditional media - a vision is shared where, in fleeting moments, in glitches - the veils thin, time blurs and our Queer connective tissue exposed.
Tandy has contributed works to solo and group exhibitions at Glass Rice (CA), The Taube Museum (ND), SOMA Arts Cultural Center (CA), The Magic Shack (CA), Art Helix (NY), Art Basel (FL), and SPRING/BREAK Art Show (NY). Blood Of A Fresh Kill is a bi-annual magazine calling upon our Queer Ancestors to aid in collectively disembowel the money-worshiping patriarchy. They have participated in residencies at the Peter Bullough Foundation and Vermont Studio Center. In the summer of 2025, they will begin a year-long residency at PS122 Studio Program in New York City.
