In dark times, art can prepare us to meet the darkness, offer warmth, joy – and breathing room Sue Danielson and Barbara Robertson make light of clashing natural and human environments, projecting light onto images of brutalist architecture and found material. Vaughn Bell takes the color atmospheric river image of meteorological forecasts and resituates it on a comforting blanket.

In this interwoven exhibition of sculpture, large-scale paintings, and videos, Danielson, Robertson and Bell delve into the mysteries of disconnected moments in time and ambiguous loss created by the pandemic and climate change anxiety. Through examination of both the built and natural environment, these artists explore the importance of place, escapism, transcendence, and the value of endurance in the face of it all.

Come wrap yourself in an atmospheric river blanket or watch a playful projection on layered natural and crafted material. Breathe and prepare for the present future.
