In this new paired show, RELIC (II), we continue to a conversation about art as relic. Justyn Hegreberg’s and Sara Osebold’s mixed-media pieces innovate while indicating their past. Rooted in material, Osebold and Hegreberg work grows from relics of urban life. Osebold’s work evokes a culture of a deep past that has been lost or overlooked. Hegreberg’s sculptures hint at a future culture that has assembled new objects from relics of present material.
