The Sitting Room

Modernism you’ve been great, but the Romantics knew how to bring it home. The Sitting Room put work by more than 10 local artists in an intimate, domestic space. Guests could sleep with the show via Air BnB.

Each piece offers a puzzle for contemplation. Domestic but not domesticated, the work opens windows into dark places in the natural world and in the self. The exhibition includes pieces in a wide range of media from bas relief sculpture to drawing and photography.
